AN EXCEPTIONAL COURSE BY BEAUTY AND DIFFICULTY
The Echappee Belle is the crossing of Belledonne Mountain, which is characterized by its technicity, its commitment to difficult paths to access, and the altitude where it takes place. Born in 2013 and described since the first edition as one of the most beautiful trail but also one the most difficult, the Echappe Belle immediately imposed itself on the Ultra Trail World. The top of the race reaches 2,930m with the Croix of Belledonne. A crossing of glacier (Freydane), 15 passes and 40km above 2000m of altitude must be crossed to finish this adventure. The record of the 144km is 27 hours while the last finishers cross the finish line in less than 56 hours.

This ultra trail is part of a process of respect for the environment and relies local economic fabric, to propose a convivial and festive race with many animations all along the race and aid station. Set up with the help and support of the Espace Belledonne, the town crossed and all the players of Belledonne, this Ultra Trail is above all the event of the people and lovers of Belledonne.
